The pun isn't that hard to get.

Here is the definition of the word prodigy:

<u>prodigy</u> - an unusually gifted or intelligent (young) person; someone whose talents excite wonder and admiration; "she is a chess prodigy"

He is basically saying he is a prodigy which means gifted and intelligent but he spelled prodigy wrong which is funny. It would be like saying, "I'm very smartt." I think you guys are overthinking it.

I knew that, but I thought you guys were saying it's clever as in a good way... I didn't know it was sarcasm.
