MSBNC's Brewer introduces Jackson as Sharpton

NEW YORK — MSNBC's Contessa Brewer has apologized for mixing up civil rights activists Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. She made the slip-up Wednesday while introducing Jackson during a segment on homelessness. After the introduction, Jackson stared at the camera from a studio in Burbank, Calif., and said, "I'm Rev. Jesse Jackson."

Brewer explained that her script read that she was to introduce "the Rev. Al Sharpton."

She continued, "We all know who you are, Rev. Jackson. I'm so sorry."

Jackson, Sharpton . . . ? Meh. I wouldn't want to be either one of them.

Too busy fact checking comedy sketches.

To avoid further mistakes they should introduce either one as "worthless douchebag"

I kind of meant Comcast's reportage of the Jackson/Sharpton good titled "M-S-B-N-C"

Heh. I wouldn't have noticed it, but that is ironic.
As is Denny's comment in this thread which mixes up MSNBC and CNN, for that matter.
