Yankee prospects are always 2-3 years away? Nobody is ever ready in this system. It takes forever and then they're very underwhelming such as in the case of Romine.

ATAMO - And Then A Miracle Occurs

This is a phrase scientists at the bench use when they get lucky and can't explain why. Its the same principle we've been using with our farm system since the core4.

Sanchez I bet will languish another three years in the minors.

I've always said that if my son ever makes it to the draft that the last team I'd want to draft him would be the Yankees.

Refsnyder and Lindgren will be ready IMO....and when/if an injury occurs to the SP I think Sererino will be "ready" with a careful eye.

Had they not resigned Drew to START, the kid Refsnyder would have gotten a shot. Hopefully he'll out hit Drew during ST & Joe will start him instead.

yes, there is a bit too much truth in that statement, that all revered Prospects are 2- 3 years from being complete.

Interesting to see Alex at #22, and I thought he'd come in at #25, or 26...!

...and not signing Drew would have "saved" the Yanx $5 Mil....lol.

In the words of Andrew Dice Clay...."Ohhhhhhhh!!!!!!"

I have given up on draftees by this inept organization. I can
understand why many youth do not want to be drafted by the
Yankees. Isn't it a shame how the people( scouts, gm, owners)
in the present day system have diminished the product.

And this coming year & next would be the perfect time to have said lets give the more promising kids a fair shot. I'm going to be real curios to see what happens for example during ST if Drew hits 220 & Rysnyder hits 350 who they give the spot to.

Cheaper than Prado.
I realize you think he's a "waste", you may be right.... Ive already went out on one of my precarious limbs by saying I do not believe he's washed up and is (IMO) an insurance policy SS/2b who just might rebound with a little more production including maybe a few long balls here and there.

I just don't envision Drew being toast at 31 yrs old coming off a season where he started late without a full ST. We'll see how it works out and I WON'T be shocked if he is in fact all washed up......but I don't believe until I see it.

.

...and ?...so what?...Prado is cheaper than Headley.

...I couldn't give 2 shits about the money...it's about the quality of the player/s... besides, Prado is more versatile defensively and is better offensively.
