Speed? Anyone?

I will be attending and any blazer fans will be a welcome sight. The celtic fans are fucking assholes just like patriot fans. deep down they only care about the sox... biggest bandwagon city in America. You couldn't find a patriot jersey in the 90's and when the celtics sucked a few years back... they didnt even know who al jefferson was.

I'm sure a Celtics fan that went to the Rose Garden would be greeted with nothing but friendly faces. As for the bandwagon jumping, it's somewhat true, but extremely exaggerated on your part. Most fans, unlike you, want their team to do well. Aren't you from CT, anyway?

Not gonna make it, mix. I'm in L.A. this week. I've had bad luck in Boston too. Blazers lost there in January 2007 when I was there. And then I went to root for the Hawks in Game 5 in 2008. Celts won that one too. I hope you're our good luck charm. It's tough being a Blazers fan right now. We need Joel. And we need more out of Batum and Rudy or the team, as is, won't work and we need a trade to create a new identity (Mo Williams and Varejao?) We'll figure this out one way or another. I have faith.

Is your first sentence trying to equate Portland fans with Boston fans? They are hardly comparable. Everyone knows Boston fans are douche bags.

probably the combination of being douches and winning. Like if a Pacers fan is being a douche, you can't even care, but when a Lakers fan is being a douche it's fucking annoying.

Good point. I always hate winners.

yes im from CT.... usually we go to knicks/blazers every year but this year I was working on that night so my GF got blazer/celts instead. its weird cause the blazers played the knicks the last 2 years in december till now but for the first time in a while... the blazers play the celts in december. kinda becoming tradition for me and my girl.

however i love new york at xmas time. nothing like it. i will miss that this year. its hard to put it into words but new york during december is just different then anywhere else. i have to settle for boston but i really do despise the fans and city. most arrogant fans on earth. laker fans arent even close.

im assuming we will be 9-9 by thurs morning

ive been to philly, boston, new york. florida, texas, la, buff

its not close .... boston are pure scumbags. pat fans are worse then celtic fans. most smug fans ive ever dealt with.

I've yet to find a single fan-base with the market cornered in douchebaggery.

i have seen enough of those fan bases in person.

philly/pats are the worst football fans

celtics/spurs/lakers are the worse nba fans

blazer fans are great... passionate but also have complex (simmons dead on with soccer moms)

hang out in boston nik... your search will be over

"weirdos who like random teams in various places all around the country" are the fan base with the most douche bags, IMO

dude... sorry i dont like to root for the local team just cause im from there. i have always liked college atmospheres...

buffalo and portland.

Oh, I thought you just liked teams that start with a B.

Blazers, Bills, Braves...

I wish I was going to that game. I would love to root against the Blazers with you.

you would be disappointed then. i would never ever root for a boston team unless it was the only option...

I always liked the Celtics. Loved the Celtics when I was young. KG is a huge douche bag though, so I've rooted against them ever since they got him.

Well shit, Boston blew one to OKC without Durant earlier this year. Maybe they let down here.

On a somewhat similar note, I got free tix for the game in Philly tomorrow from a Sixer fan promotion. Unfortunately, I have a final tomorrow from 6-8pm. Not sure I'll make it to the game.

I wonder what hotel the Blazers stay in when they're in town. If they are staying somewhere near downtown, I might head over and boycott the Nic benching in front of the hotel at lunchtime. HCP, help me out!

philly and wiz are absolute must wins

You keep on saying that! Who gives a fuck. You always throw out that so and so are must win games. Must wins, or what? A couple games 15 games into the season are really going to determine if we make the playoffs, or not?
