I just got a Ps3 today, I wanna connect it to the internet does anyone know how to? Is it easy? Also r there any special features on the PS3 that are new and interesting?

thats looks really kool, now i just gotta find out how to set up the internet for it
 
Does it have a wifi connection or do you have to hook it up?

The latest PS3 update worked out all the kinks so now its a 3 min setup for the internet. I love it.

really? ill go check hopefully I have the updated one.
 
I have 2k8, hopefully i can soon play it online. The Ps3 came with a wire i connected it with my router and ps3 the internet went on for a few minutes and since then i havent been able to put it on Anyone know why?????????
 
hmm...not sure. I use a wireless connection..it seems to crap out on me every so often for my PS3. as a matter of fact, I have to do a system update on it, but I keep getting disconnected as it's downloading. Bummer.

did you try doing any internet connection tests on your PS3 menu?
 
I got PS3 way back and today was the first day I got the internet to work haha.

yea i got it 2 work, the only thing is now im trying 2 play 2k8, but i have the ps2 version, it wont let me play anyone even if they have the ps2 version for some reason.

I'm just wondering if I bring it down to my dorm room. Can I use the campus' wi-fi to set up online?

WTF were you thinking spending your hard earned money on a console? stupid
 
I don't think you can play PS2 games online using the PS3...though I've never really tried.

ughh im trying to play online with my friend thats next to me but he cant play =( i guess ps3 online doesnt have multi player.. (COD 4)

Go to your PS3 home page (just start it without a game) and go all the way to the right, and there should be all your stuff there. If you can't figure it out from that point on by yourself, God help you.
