Appropos of nothing: Eliot Williams is a chess player

I really don't think he will be our point, but I can always appreciate a guy who thinks a little bit ... whether or not that means he has basketball IQ or not remains to be seen, but it can't hurt.

What I want to know is, when Eliot Williams commits a foul, does he have to smack the timer in order to make the clock stop?

Clock stops automatically on a foul, I think. Lemme ask my rules guru Rizzle.

6'5" 180 lbs.

It's a good thing he can play PG, he has a Rudy Fernandez build.

No one can win games by himself.

Except Wilt Chamberlain. However, his record-setting off-court accomplishments were definitely team achievements.

I believe you're referring to... oh never mind, more trouble than it's worth.

I like the way he carries himself.

Every draft site I've seen has him listed as a SG, or a combo guard with weak PG skills at best. I think he's more of a Rudy replacement for when we eventually trade the spaniard.

It was a joke. Sort of like this organization's pattern of drafting at least one "point guard" in every draft for the past 6 years ... and this year we took two.
