<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Orlando Magic had to have been happy Wednesday night to place five players in double figures, with no one scoring more than 17 points, in a much-needed victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

But there must have been times during their stretch of eight losses in nine games when they yearned for someone capable of carrying a team on his own.

Someone like Vince Carter.

Maybe even Vince Carter himself.</div>

He isn't exactly carrying the Nets, so why should we assume he is going to carry Orlando?

Good point but over an 8 game losing streak he may have helped

Carter would have made a differece. But Orlando is better off without Carter. Dwight Howard is their franchise player, putting Carter in the mix might affect Howards growth.

Dwight barely gets any touches at this point, imagine what it would be like with Carter on the team. Howard's growth would really be stunned on the offensive end, and wouldn't make him a lethal player that he should be.
