With the new Brazlian Fan becomigna member, Im curious. How far does Blazer Fandom Reach?
Please post where you are from and how long you have been a Blazer fan.

Thought this might be a fun visual list to see just how far this Forum reaches. :) I already know we have out of staters and some Euro fans.

Are you a Blazer fan?
Where are you from???

Born in Portland. Watched the team as a kid in the 80s. Didn't really fall in love with the team until the mid 90s though. I felt like the Drexler/Porter/Kersey team was my dads. I got really invested in the Sheed/Kenny Anderson/Rider/Brian Grant team when I was in high school, and then my love for the team grew from there.

Born and raised in Portland. Parents had season ticket in the 70s. First Blazer memories were my neighborhood going crazy over the championship when I was in kindergarten.

Born overseas in Germany but grew up in Portland. And yes, I do secretly pull for Dirk and Dennis Schroder, but not against us.

Oh Wow!

Maybe I should ad for people to please add whether you were ever from here if you now reside elsewhere.

Mostly Im wondering how many people were not born from here but still became Blazers fans. Pretty incredible honestly... Stories like Brazilian Fan.

Born in Portland. The first Blazer game I attended (against the Bucks) the Blazer starting 5 was Adelman/Petrie/Barnett/Gregor/Ellis. Bucks line-up was Jabbar/Dandridge/Smith/Robertson/ Allen.

No - I don't remember where I left my car keys, or if I am wearing underwear - but I remember the first season of Blazermania.

Dudce!!! Sooo happy to see you have your priorities in order to remember.. who needs that other crap anyhow? There is the max and depends!!!!

Alvin Williams didn't have an era.... he was here for half a season.
Man, I was pumped when we got him and Kelvin Cato. Just thought they were going to be good for us. I guess they did get us Damon Stoudamire right? I don't remember.

Alvin got us Damon (with Kenny and Gary Trent).

Cato got us Pippen (with Walt Williams and four other dudes.)

Was he the one who looked like Eddie Murphy, or was that Aaron McKie?

Quick google search and it was Aaron.

(in before someone makes the obvious joke)

I was born in Germany as well! My father was a soldier stationed over thew. Moved to Vancouver when I was 8. (2004)

Yeah. My father was in the Air Force. If I'd have been born a few years later, I could have tries out for the Men's National Team! JK

I wish I was born in Portland but subjected to a birthing in New "freakin" Jersey. I grew up in Trenton, which was actually a really cool place at one time . I became interested in the Blazers in 77 and became a nut over the way the team played and how cool their uniforms looked. (I did support the Sixers in 77. I always followed Dr. J.) But, at that time, I liked Portland when the playoffs started due to Maurice Lukas and Lionel Hollins. I became all involved with the 87 team and from there I was a permanent fan.

Born in rural western Iowa..moved to San Diego in 1971 in the Navy...spent a couple tours overseas and bought some land in Northern Cal in 74 and planted trees in Oregon every summer to make land payments...fell in love with the place..Blazers I followed Walton who I watched play pickup games in San Diego a few times. Was 23 when they won the championship. couple decades in asia and moved back to Portland..left there 15 years ago when I found my couple of acres in the foothills of the coastal range. Stayed a Blazer fan since I was probably 19 or so.

I was born in NJ too but moved when I was 5.

Livingston, Scotland. Been a Blazers fan since nba2k14 popped up in a steam sale :). I choose Portland as my team as they share most of the colours that my football team(Aberdeen F.C.) use: Red, White, Black and Gold(Few more Championships, and the Blazers can upgrade the silver to gold:wink::tongue:).
