What’s your take on the hard seltzers? I was resistant to them when they first came out. But now on a hot summer day I find them refreshing

I enjoy them quite a bit. As I’ve gotten older, beer doesn’t sit well in my stomach and I can get hungover pretty easily

I’ve never cared what anyone has to say about it either

I hate regular seltzers with a passion. So gross.

Same for these.

I'm a cider guy through and through. I'm also grateful I don't have terrible hangovers. I also drink water in between most drinks.

Oh I’ve never cared what people think in any aspect of my life. And it’s the ultimate peace.

My resistance was because I was hesitant to a sweet drink with alcohol. Sugar and alcohol has always been kind of nauseous to me. Surprisingly these don’t bug me.

I used to down the IPA’s. Can’t do those anymore they make me way too bloated.

I tend to drink a lot of light Mexican beers like Pacifico and Sol. Problem being I love to imbibe so I can put down probably too many when about 4 IPA’s used to do me good.

I like them. It's usually our go to beverage when paddle boarding

I went through a kick with them, they are indeed refreshing and great light summer drinks. My problem is, i drink alot of regular seltzers because I genuinely enjoy them and try to avoid soda, so, to also have seltzers when i drink is just too much seltzer in my life.

I came crawling back to beer.

If you dig the seltzer-style drinks though, these are where it’s at:

They are an actual mixed drink, rather than malt liquor like many selzters. Way less bloaty and hangover-y

I prefer Hamms

Funny that was my dad’s beer of choice growing up. I think it’s just cause we were broke. I remember him wearing a crew neck hams sweatshirt similar to your typical crew neck college team sweatshirt of the early 90’s

Your dad is a straight up G

Funny enough my sister in law just came over and said I should try them and I said yeah some random stranger on the internet was just talking about them before I caught myself and realized how stupid that sounds

White claws are meh. I used to drink craft beers and will every once in awhile now, but I'm back to ol faithful in coors light.

If you want to drink a seltzer, Ranch Water is my go to. It is so much better.

I enjoy them. A good summers day drink. Sometimes it's gotta be a beer though or a rum and coke on the rocks.

Being in the beer business, I can tell you that while White Claw is still the #1 seltzer, I feel like sales have dropped on it since last year. Everyone is really still all about Coors Light here in Oregon, and Modelo as well. I sell a lot of that these days....Constellation (Corona, Modelo, Pacifico, Victoria) has a 45% share in the Portland beer market right now....that's just insane. Twisted Tea overtook Mike's in the flavored malt category last year, which is no easy task. Mike's has been the king for years. There are a lot of good seltzer choices out there; Topo Chico and Lone River Ranch Water are tasty.

modelo is on a heater right now, and well deserved as that is the best beer imo

Modelo in a can is one of my favorites. I prefer most beer in a can over bottle. I feel like it’s got a better ‘glug’ to it, if that makes any kind of sense lol.

Modelo is really good, but I like Pacifico even more. To me, it's the best of the big three.

I used to really like Pacifico like 10 years ago.

I'm still championing Green Dos Equis. Also like Corona Premier and Modelo.

Deschutes came out with a tasty Lemonade Shandy.

Bend Brewery has a good sour called Ching Ching.

I stayed at a resort in Mexico where the beer they on hand was green dosequis. By the end of the trip I didn’t want to have anything to do with it. Not my favorite.
