I think MLB wimped out a but I'd hoped they'd go the full 211 course but a huge step, what's done is done, now finish up the business of rebuilding the team.
...actually, I think it's only $22 Mil...just sayin'.
...but if they ad Tanaka and Young, I'm golden.
What about the remaining $61M for 2015-17? What about salary paid to him during the time he was a Biogenesis customer?
Not counting the 6M (passing Mays) He was due 25M for the 2014 season. To my understanding he gets only approx 3M of that. I forget why. But hey, the Yankees should be able to do a lot with 22M.
Yanks need to arrange discounted buyout from him or take him to court and sue him for all his transgressions and if that court case occurs I believe they can get horowitz's decision unsealed and word is there's so much bad stuff on a-rod in there he would settle rather quickly. He has been basically all bluster with no substance from the start and the only happy people in his camp are his blood sucking lawyers as their all laughing their asses all the way to the bank.
Is it possible for the Yanks to get under the 189 mil if they sign Tanaka?
That would be just dandy!
Then, starting in 2015, they can further aggravate Mike (the weasel) Lupica and the other asswholes by spending more money. GO YANKS ---> get their blood pressure up. lol
Honestly I don't see it happening. I'd be surprised if after all is said & done they get under 200M.
If they get Tanaka, they will spend more in my opinion because they will feel they have a better team with Tanaka. I bet they sign Balfour and who knows maybe Arroyo or another starter.
^^^wish I had said that !![]()
