WHY I CANT STAND SPURS FANS A VERBATIM CONVO:

Spurs Fan- Are you going to the game tonight?
Me- I’m going to Game 6
SF- Oh my god I’m jealous, it’s about time we win again, it’s been so long.
Me- (just glaring at them)
SF- What? It’s been like 12 years since we won a title!
Me- I haven’t seen my Blazers in the finals since 92, they haven’t won a title in my lifetime. You have 5 titles! There are numerous small market NBA teams that don’t even have a championship and you are complaining!
SF- Yea we are really spoiled aren’t we?

Spurs fans think it’s their God given right to be good while not realizing they’ve been so incredibly lucky to have two of the three most important #1 picks of the last 30 years. I know they aren't all like this and God willing, if the Blazers ever had even some of the success they have, that there would be a ton of Portland fans just like this one. They just frustrate me so much, while I have to cover them and get very lucky to be in the building and see these games in SA first hand, while also loathing the success they've had and their pompous ass fans.

No Sharpe for Canada.

No Zach Edey, either. Edey's probably still rehabbing - is Sharpe? Has Sharpe ever represented Canada? He might just not be interested. Or he might be nursing some kind of grudge, like when he refused to be in the slam dunk contest because he wasn't in the rookie game.

I see people complaining about this, but then people complained when Batum always showed up for France, so you can't win.

What's wrong with good old-fashioned "alcoholic"?
(Makes me think of The Onion line - "he's like a chocoholic, but for booze")
There are new accepted phrases replacing old ones all the time; you don’t have to use them, but professional outlets do; there’s usually a vote on it and everything. It’s a big deal in professional editing circles.

They take time to get used to, so don’t worry about the weird feeling you get reading it. It’ll either eventually go away or you’ll be the guy who still calls PTSD shellshock. It’s fine either way. But it’s very normal, and is happening constantly everywhere.

Sharpe better be like I need to focus in being better cause if not this is why I am open to trading him lack of desire - period

If Dame is no longer married there is no reason why he should not have a relationship with another woman. Or man for that matter. As long as both parties are consenting adults. No one's business.

I do not have a issue with it but with the new system and lets say the Blazers miss the playoffs that year -- it would be the year the Blazers get the 1st pick -- LOL

The blurb I read suggested Orlando's pick as the one they should trade plus other draft capital for the 17th pick this year.

That probably wouldn't be a bad thing in this year's draft, but it sounds almost too logical for this organization......
The Thunder have an abundance of talent but could use something established as opposed to another rookie.
The Blazers have a few future assets and maybe a player that could get them to move from that #17 pick.

Just read a blurb about the Blazers trading a future pick to the Thunder for their pick this year.
Because I'm lazy and tie all speculation together...I wonder if that could be portion of a Bucks based trade. Milwaukee prefers a pick this year to future, so we move Orlando '28 for 12 or 17 this year to flip to Milwaukee

Tying to many teams together rarely works.
If this has any real legs at all I think it would be something like a simple player and future pick.
Maybe Timelord?

3 team trades happen all the time.

What was just discussed was Orlando’s pick and Milwaukee and the Thunder with Portland.
That is 4 teams and it seems unlikely.
We have Orlando 's 2028 pick. Sorry, yeah, 4 teamers and more do start to get a little convoluted for sure!

A couple players I’m pretty happy are in the finals.
One is DeArron Fox. He spent an awful long time playing for struggling teams.
Josh Hart will be fun to root for as well.
