His crappy shooting seems to be overlooked too. His scoring numbers look like Damon Stoudamire's on a bad day. Most shots for the team, with the worst percentage.

Not sure who it was but someone on here picked that up during the first round. Said “Let Wemby get his and stop everyone else”.
I think that is the way to stop the Spurs.

Yeah, I don't see what people see in him. He isn't even that good.

The guy I wanted as cronins replacement just went to Dallas. Too bad el cheapo is here. Doubt he'd have even gotten a call back if he reached out to Ujiri

Now to be clear. I kind of think he has a point. Putting a guard on Wemby seems to be the way to play him.
 
Just read a blurb about Jokic trade rumors. Yes probably click bait but it has some legs.
He becomes a FA next year and if he decides to leave they lose him for nothing. We've seen this here with Benedict Aldridge. The Nuggets would be idiots not to consider the possibilities.
My problem comes with who is a possible suiter. First in line is the Lakers. Obviously if Lebron retires they have some cap space to work with. Could you imagine Joker and Luka on the same team? WTF?
Then comes the Cavs. That team is primed again to go places.
Last is the Heat. Like em or not they always seem to be in the mix for any big name.

That would be crazy! Luka and Jokic on the Lakers would be a nightmare for a Laker hater like me.
Obviously he's an amazing player that every team would want. But one thing I can see why teams might shy away from him is that it seems like he might retire earlier than most guys do. He wants to go enjoy life at home in Serbia.

We tried that, with some success. We just couldn't stop anyone else on the roster

Well I fucking hope 28 teams shy away from him so we can get him for cheap. Surely Denver would accept "the Chinese Jokic" in exchange?

I'd certainly do this. They'd probably want Clingan in return, but I'd prefer to give them Deni, because I don't think he and Jokic could work well together.

I'd rather have Jokic than Giannis, in part because Jokic is much more durable and obviously doesn't rely on athleticism that will decline fast. Plus I'm sure Sabas was an idol when he was younger...

(Can Clingan and Jokic work together? That would remain to be seen.)

Denver laughs at anything we offer. But, I think with Jokic's shooting and playmaking from outside, he and Deni could fit just fine together. We'd just need an actual offensive system.

What if we include the sacred Bucks picks? But any trade is contingent on Jokic asking for one, because otherwise Denver isn't moving him anywhere. But he seemed a bit pissed off, to be frank, at the lack of help he was getting. And things will get worse if they lose Peyton Watson.

Also: if you had to choose between Deni and Clingan you'd pick Deni? (Jokic IS the offensive system. He's a seven-foot Steve Nash.)
