I wonder how this trade will turn out.

Ivica Zubac trade update:

Clippers receive:
- 5th pick in the 2026 NBA draft
- Unprotected 2029 FRP (From Indiana I think)
- 2028 SRP
- Bennedict Mathurin
- Isaiah Jackson

Pacers receive:
- Ivica Zubac (29 years old)
- Kobe Brown

I don't really care who wins between the Spurs and the Wolves, but what I've seen in the last 2 games, so far, is that Minny is being allowed to grab, hold, slam and body block the Spurs on just about every defensive set

So Washington gets AD, Trae, and the number one pick? I guess that means we know who will win the championship next year

Not Washington? Trae sucks, ad is always injured and even the last two prized #1 picks didnt do shit for their teams in their rookie years.

What an embarassing take.

"I was obviously sarcastic" youll say, then I show your blind homeism for mediocrity and everyone laughs. Sorry I ruined your only try at redemption from this really awful take.

What's he talking about?
They tanked all year and ended up outside the top 4 and that's where the protection for their pick ran out. So the number 5 pick that should have been theirs is now the Clippers. I don't think many people would trade the number 5 pick in this draft for Zubac but our old friend KP did along with the Pacers 2029 FRP which doesn't have any protections on it.

Thanks. That's rough. If that had happened to us this place would be in a nuclear meltdown.

That's not a good look for Wemby. That's kind of a cheap shot, and Draymond Green would be proud of it.
I wonder what the league will do. Metta World Peace was suspended for 7 games for nearly the same thing against James Harden.

if you thought “Trae + AD + #1 pick = automatic title” was a serious basketball analysis, that’s on you

basically they gambled and lost

Bruce Bowen was not suspended by the NBA for kneeing Steve Nash in the groin during Game 3 of the 2007 Western Conference Semifinals. case to case basis

Wemby doesn't have a history of this. Metta World Peace has a long and storied history of such actions.

Probably no further punishment aside from a fine, IMO.

Just as with with Embleed, who tries to take opponents out with non-basketball plays, Wembiid is on a dirty, dirty path. And no, I don't mean the Hershey hiking trail that bisects the Pacific Rim Trail. 👀

Look what happened to Payoff P this year! It's so satisfying to see him fail again and again....and again.

I don't believe in karma literally, but I do believe in punishment and blessings. And it's fitting in these cases to say: Karma is a bitch. Payoff P. LMAO! Try to pay off the stripper you knocked up with $1,000,000 to have an abortion, she refuses, then you marry her and try to keep that on the down low to your daughter for the rest of your life.

Literal trash human produces trash basketball for us to enjoy. It's not Playoff P, it's Payoff P. 😆😆😆

Karma also gets Embleed for all his dirty plays. It's so satisfying to watch him fail perennially.

Watch what will happen to Wembiid's career for his murder attempt on the temple of Reid. Getting struck hard enough in the temple can result in death.

It's disgusting when players already have great physical attributes and skills and try to play dirty or cheap or use egregious flopping to get ahead, when they don't even need to. It's greed and it's extremely unsportsmanlike.

Wembiid didn't have a history of it. Fixed that for you.

"What a disgrace". Very true. This is basically identical to what Wembiid did. Wembiid just made it look slightly ambiguous as far as it's intentionality. But in replays, boy you can sure see the intent on his face. Kind of emulating Draymond's mindless-seeming flail, but very intentional arm-batting of Nurk's head. And a pointy and bony elbow is more lethal than an arm.

so the Pacers wasted a whole season to play like garbage. sheesh.

In the same way as me hitting anybody is "basically identical" to Mike Tyson beating them to a pulp. I'm honestly surprised that Harden wasn't out cold.

Zubac is a great piece for them, but that was such a steep price…hopefully for them Haliburton is as good as he was pre-injury, and they’re better than they were during that finals run. But wow, everyone in the top 5 of this draft will be a lot better than Zubac!

Of course. That was a vicious elbow from Wemby and I think a lot of non superstars would have been suspended a game for it but the guy is definitely a superstar getting superstar treatment.

When I saw it live I didnt think he meant to do it, didnt think he knew Reid was behind him. But when you see the replay in slow motion you can see Wemby turned his head, could see Reid, then threw the elbow. And followed it up with an attempt to push him. So it was obviously intentional.

It was an intentional foul....little doubt about that; Wemby lost his cool

that's not to say he wasn't fouled pretty hard before the elbow, but the officials are letting a lot of that go. I think Minny has been getting away with a lot of grabbing, holding, and body blocking
