According to his own website, he's returning to the "air" July of 2015.

not sure it's an online radio show, or podcasts though.

Art is planning to return to broadcasting on the Internet when his non-compete clause with SiriusXM expires in July 2015.

Yeah, I figured this. I still blame him for signing a deal and then backing out.

I blame him, but at the same time I don't. He was offered probably a fair amount of money to do it and took it.

The reason it ended, who knows. I think there was some truth to the reasons he gave, but I also think it was probably him realizing it was probably more work than he wanted to do.

The funny byproduct of it is that Coast to Coast has pretty much turned into a ghost of itself. I wonder how the ratings are for it now.

The reason seemed obvious to me. He was attracted to the idea of radio without rules, but he didn't think hard enough about the fact that it's a subscription service and most people either had to subscribe online (which sucked) or buy a satellite radio. People complained a lot because they did the free trial for the online streaming and it would time out after a little while. Seemed like a small issue. He wasn't pulling the numbers he was used to, so he blamed XM and he bailed suddenly. It was bullshit. He demanded that they let him stream for free on his website while also broadcasting on XM, they said no, so he threw a bitch fit and left.

I was supremely disappointed in Art. He had a ton of loyal supporters who rushed out and got a subscription for a pointless service that they only used to listen to him. He left them in the lurch.

What is the appeal of this guy? Just alien stories and government conspiracies basically right? And why is he so popular in Oregon when it looks like he was based out of Nevada?

Ok, so I do watch the Unsealed Conspiracy Theories Netflix series and the content kind of interests me but the production is so horrible I can't watch much of it. Anyone seen it on Netflix? Look it up if you haven't and let me know if you can sit through most of it. If you have seen it let me know what you think of it.

He would have some of the top scientists of our time on the show. Some of the guests were amazing. He did have some crack head shit but he knows how to get a guest to tell a story.

The Unsealed Alien Files thing? I've watched it. I can't stand how corny they make it with the commentating.

Unsealed conspiracies in general but yes some on alien stuff. That is my problem too. The content is OK but the opening, closing and returning from commercials parts make me want to shoot the TV.

It's where MARIS61 and jlprk get their news.

As sly said, it wasn't just conspiracies and aliens and ghosts. He had on some very interesting scientists and he would talk about things that the mainstream media was ignoring. Plus he's just a really cool guy to listen to when you're working or driving. He's a great interviewer. Probably one of the best.

This.

He is a great, smart, fun interviewer with an excellent radio voice (as opposed in every way to that boob George Noory.) His interviews with Michio Kaiku and Father Malachai Martin were fascinating, and the open lines were always entertaining.

Noory sucks. Every physicist he gets on there he tries to turn it into some debate about god. It's really annoying. Also you can tell that all of his interviews use scripted questions because he never asks a follow up question.

George killed the show. I hate him. He is a horrible interviewer. Just horrible.

I loved coast to coast back in the day, in high school in the early 90's, but things change, and I'm really not so sure he can be as relevant and mind boggling today. Really, it's the Internet. Whereas his topics were often so unique and really the only way for a common person to learn about these topics was listening to bell. But now, the Internet has brought forth tons of easy to access online forums, podcasts, and alt-news and online communities that congregate around each of these d topics.

If he returns again, I'm sure I'll listen to a show here and there, but I'll never stay awake till 3am needing to soak up every bit of some never-before heard of subject. If it's interesting, I'll google it later.
