I don't know, but I don't think the money is out of line. Eric is here often and we've grown accustomed to that. A fan of Bones, could jump at the chance to get to talk with him. Especially on video. Just IMHO....
So Eric.... I haven't talked to my friend yet, but his daughter is in college now, and headed into theatrics. She is only 20 but has had quite a few paid jobs for some bigger plays here in Salem and Portland. Stage management, set design and construction, coffee gopher.... Not acting. I think your Broadway experiences could be exciting for her to discuss. Just a guess here though.
Two questions....
Have you thought about a discount price for a longer conversation? Say she's really enjoying it, and decides she wants to talk longer. 1/2 hour, 45 min, an hour? That's something her Dad will ask.
Secondly- Could she put you down as a reference on job applications down the road? Obviously, she would have to say that it was just a brief talk, if they asked her. Still, a name is a name.
