They say to be a good secondary cover guy, you need a short memory - in order to shake off being burned. Good for Elder, he has a very, very short memory. Hey, Elder...might I remind you that James ran for 114 yards and 1 TD and your inability to contain him (I especially liked his 40 yard run) opened up the pass game so Thomas burned YOUR secondary for 260 yards and 2 TDs.

Oh, and nice "hood ling"-- My hat is off to your clear understanding of the English language and the education you're receiving there at ASU.

S Eddie Elder on whether it matters if Oregon RB LaMichael James, the nation's leading rusher, plays against the Sun Devils: "No, because he didn't do nothing against us last year, so he wouldn't do anything against us this year."

It's a bit cowardly to talk junk about a guy not expected to play. I wonder if this makes LMJ heal just a little bit faster, though. :)
 
It should be an interesting game. Oregon is going to need a couple of big play passes to win this one imo.

You gonna stick around for the whole game this time or are you planning on just popping in before halftime and then running to hide in your hole like before?
 
This would be a great game for Chip to throw a bunch to Colt, Dungy, Tuinei and Huff. Keep their defense worried about the pass then let Barner, Thomas and the Mamba make um pay for being on their heels. Would like to see Thomas use his speed a little more this game.

Mr. Long, you are losing street cred with me by your behavior in this Duck forum. I know you are grumpy about your team's season so far, but don't steady crack on my Ducks....... if you know what's good for you FAMS!

Interesting. I usually hit rivals for stats/game/recruiting info but even they can be wrong from time to time. They reported LMJ at 114 yards.

Took the time to fish up the official NCAA/Ducks football chart for the game due to the discrepancy.

LMJ actually ran for 120 yards total. But, due to several negative yards plays, lost 26 for a net of 94 yards.
