Destanee Aiava claims first WTA scalp with Brisbane International win
TEENAGER Destanee Aiava has won her first WTA match overcoming a night of uncertainty after a rain delay to take down veteran American Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
The 16-year-old qualifier from Melbourne resumed her match this morning leading 2-6, 6-3 and 3-0 in the final set.
