And to think that Cashman was against the move. Doesn't that sum it up in a nutshell. The spotlight now turns again to Cashman due to the Nix injury. We have no adequate replacements in the minors for every day shortstop duty in a playoff run. He has to do something, this team has fought all year, we are down just 4 games with critical series with Tampa and Baltimore coming up and the deadline to lock roster spots in 10 days.
