Can't wait to see what kind of grab bag lineup Girardi throws into a hat tonight. He got lucky last night putting a 160 hitter in the 5 hole that even had Kay & Singleton questioning it. but we'll see. Stay tuned.

...it's also been explained before why batting someone 9th is not a bad thing (insert irrelevant NL reference here)...Ichiro is batting 9th because after the first time through the order the players with speed are together. Same reason why Gardner spent a lot of time batting 9th.

...Drew batted 5th last night because of his ability to kick the shit out of the starting pitcher...he faced that pitcher THREE times and was 1 for 3 with the game winning RBI...but you already knew that.

Are you fucking kidding me? now you're trying to justify Drew batting 5th because as you say he kicks the shit out of Shields? based on what a grand total of 8-9 at bats against the guy.

And yeah I had lock jaw when the mighty Drew hit a rare HR. But not as badly as you did when I questioned what other manager in baseball bats a 165 hitter in the 5 hole. It was questioned here & it was even questioned by Kay & Singleton during the game. The trouble with you is that you've got your head so far up your uncle Joe's ass that his shit is beginning to blind you.

It might be a good idea if you just let this topic go before you embarrass yourself even further. Or better yet save your arguments for pasta.

Since I wasn't the only one who questioned it & getting a rare hit can hardly be taken as getting OWNED, I can only assume that your post was meant to be humorous.
 
I found your explanation for Drew batting where he did yesterday as pretty logical, knowing that guys like Girardi generally play the odds. Its rare for Joe to go with a hunch, but to his credit he usually owns up to those in interviews. Meh....this is arguing for argument sake at this point. Is it that hard to tip your cap when/where its deserved?

...tote, I don't think there's any way that's gonna happen...if he had acknowledged it and tipped his cap, I would have been more understanding.
