Kuroda looks to bounce back after two rough starts in a row.

The Yankees need to win every game possible and we will see how the math works out playoff wise.

Looking for Hiroki San to do well tonight, Reynolds at 2nd base seems a bit shaky so lets hope the offense grills it up a bit.

Kuroda not looking good for a third start in a row now.

Wow, sure glad that Girardi is running Stewart, our defensive specialist out there. As far as I'm concerned Girardi hasn't done much right over the last 3 to 4 weeks. Lets hope the offense rallies, Kuroda looks tired to me, his pitches are up and flat.

The Yankees deserve this - any team stupid enough to actually think they could not only keep Chris Stewart on the roster the whole season, but play him with regularity deserves to be done in by his scrubbiness.

How dare you question what our MOY candidate does.

With that said I think there's a leave it to beaver marathon on. I'll check back later. Hopefully by then its not 10-0

It's time to come to grips with the fact that the playoffs aren't happening this season. Kuroda picked the wrong time to have three consecutive bad outings. The consistency just isn't there to make up the ground that they must make up. The hot streak was nice and gave us hope but that's all it did. Short of a major comeback tonight losing this series just about does it considering where they sit in the standings.

Just came in for a game check, checked the play by play looks like Stewart screwed the pooch. So Joe why did you send Hiroki back out there? Figured you've got the Toronto Series and are resting the pen for Baltimore and Boston.

The A's and Rays look like they will be winners tonight.

Oakland has sacked up, on the verge of whacking Detroit 3 straight. They may not get the division but they'll keep their WC. Meantime we look forward to BUFF pitching against Baltimore with Hughes closing that series. Not the best possible trend.

They're not catching Tampa either. With 29 games left after tonight it's just not in the cards. You cannot lose 2 of 3 in Tampa and then 2 of three in Toronto when every series is critical.

Losing 2 out of 3 to a last place team. I'm afraid this season will end after game one sixty two.

The Yankees are what 12-2 against Toronto, yep bad time to finally lose a series but, they have losing records against Tampa, Baltimore and Boston plus lost series against teams they should have beaten ie Chicago and San Diego. Losing 5-6 to Oakland was no help. We can also thank the organization for PB Stewart and the failure to find a sub to run out for Hughes every 5th day.

Who's responsible though for all these bad decisions? It can't be Girardi.
