Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, today warned Iran's high-ranking clerics against the "flooding of ravaging moral decay" by the West, specifically the legalization of homosexuality.
Today's comments by the 76-year-old Iranian leader were made during his 40-minute meeting with the 88 members of the newly-elected
Assembly of Experts, a council of clerics that is responsibe for choosing the country's Supreme Leader's successor.
Ayatollah Khamenei had a captive audience in the room with him: Iran's former president Hashemi Rafsanjani, current president Hassan Roouhani, and the head of Iran's Judiciary Ayatollah Amoli (all three are also members of the powerful council).
Ayatollah Khamenei claimed that "
there is no worst form of moral degeneration than [homosexuality]." He warned them that the West's sexual freedoms will not stop at legalization of homosexuality and will one day lead to legalized "incest and even worse."
Ayatollah Ali Khamenie, the highest ranking religious and political authority in Iran, also criticized the West for not allowing the opponents of homosexuality to freely speak up their minds.

Iran: In accordance with sharia law, homosexual intercourse between men can be punished by death, and men can be flogged for lesser acts such as kissing. Women may be flogged.
So while we can both agree that Trump is an idiot, I would say this guy is and has been a worse impact on the world. But hey as long as he trolls trump, hes great right?
