He would have to change him name to the way the Vikings did it though because that's the way they do last names still there, like Barfosson or Barfosdottir. .

To be honest, I'm rather fond of Iceland, and I have been following the Pirate Party doings for some time. But I cannot support them actually acquiring power.

What's the government policy on big red clown noses?

Let's just say, I'm probably the only one of us who has threatened over maritime radio to fire on another vessel...

The women love me for my 17-footer. But seriously, you Coast Guard types have bad radios. I said I was "there for fun," not "carrying a ton."

Enough with the teaser, lets hear the story.

Brian predicted that the enemy sub would pull a "Crazy Ivan" to the starboard at the bottom of the hour, so his Captain let him communicate with the Russians through morse code.

Of course, Brian's morse was so rusty, he could have been sending them dimensions for the playmate of the month.

So no acquiring power. Just rape, pillage and run?

I'm sad that nobody, except maybe Riverman, got this joke :sigh:

Ahh, good use of a quote from The Hunt for Red October.

Glad someone connected the dots. I hate to have to admit in public when I'm too dense to understand a post.

Eh, it's one of those things where you either remember the quote or you don't.
