I think he's the most fundamentally sound PF. But forgive me If I don't feel he will ever have two offensive performances we saw out of LA in the Houston series as we did in games one and two. He will never explode like that nor do I think he has capability too.

Barkley needs to be careful though with these kind of comments and comments about poor black folk he is edging ever so closely to being called an 'Oreo'.

Pretty sure the best PF in Barkleys mind depends on who is playing in the game he is commentating.

Except of course when he isn't playing because he is hurt right? He really hasn't played a full season but once in the last 3 years.

Reggie did say "theres probably someone in portland that just fell off his couch..." After Chuckles said that.

Chuckles has a point.... Love beasts on the boards and I'd love for our PF to average 12+ rebounds a game, while being able to put up points...

I'd love it if our PF could lead his team to the playoffs, and win a playoff series (and not on the back of a astronomically better player).

Wouldn't we all? It's no doubt what they both have accomplished as a team, but I thought we were discussing the individual player and their skill.

Love beasts on the boards, that type of skill would be awesome to have. Chuckles has a point, but not sure if he's right. The more important thing is that we have one of three top 3 PF's in the league.

Eh, its pretty easy to make an arguement about any of 5 PF's over the last 3-4 years that could be considered the best. Love has put up the best stats by FAR of that group. Its easy to try and throw those stats away because he has been on crappy teams and he plays about as much D as a chair but regardless of how you want to view it Love puts up the stats. Personally i'd take Duncan as the top PF of the last 3-4 years.

I have seriously questioned more than once if Barkley even watches basketball games.

The ironic part of his whole comment, was that he twice referenced Love's scoring from the 3 pt line (along with rebounding and passing) as a reason for why Kevin was such as great PF. This from a guy who's first criticism about most teams.......is that they rely too much on the outside shot.

I do think KLove is an excellent player as he has always been fundamentally sound, but to be honest I just don't care about who is the best. I am just glad we have a good one. They both do different things. To me LA has a skill that is tougher to find, and that is his step back fade away jumper. That shot is impossible to block. Very few bigs can do it.

LMA: 19pts 8rbs


Very close as I just said, I appreciate the rebounding of K. Love. I agree that the argument that Chuckles made has some point to it. I was not making a decision on who is better myself.

Well if you look at career starts Carlos Boozer is right there with Aldridge, Love and Griffin.
