This is round 1 of the battle tournament. Try your best. The winner will advance to the next round, while the loser will be eliminated. You have 2 days to battle back and forth, and then a winner will be announce by the following criteria:

I voted for Smitty.

I thought phunDamentalz 3rd post was probably the only one that could be considered better than Smitty's. Otherwise, Smitty had arguable the best line of the 1st round (best ever to cross a Mike since A.I. did), and showed more in fewer verses. Also, a couple of phunDamentalz' lines were iffy and didn't really flow.

I can't even vote on this battle because I don't think either one took control. Both just spit cliches and generalizations, but at no point did they attempt to get at each other.

cuz like thrilla said no one really took over, i cant pick smitty just because of one crazy line.. all though it was probably the best line, it didnt diss him that much.. so therefore i cant vote.

Smitty had a lot of general lines but they all flowed really well I think and I loved the AI line, like everyone else. However, phundamentalz' lines actually left more of an impression on me cause more of his punhlines stood out to me. If I honestly had to vote, I'd call it a TIE.

So, I guess you can count that as one vote for each of them

thanks but a better solution would be to only give me a vote as I kind of need them....

Both battled well... but Smitty hit slightly harder. If they did more rhyming I would have been more satisfied though.
