Welcome to round 2 of the battle tournaments. Congrats for making it this far. In round 1, we have seen some epic battles, and legends were born. But now, round 2 has arrived, and the challenges will become that much harder. Who will win it all? That remains to be seen. But the battles will only get harder, and the competition will only grow greater. Good luck to all, and remember to have fun.

Gotta go with MrJ on this. VC, you improved from the first round I think and honestly, just keep writing, you're bound to continue getting better. However, in terms of this battle, MrJ had a better flow, more punches, nicer lines etc etc etc. MrJ gets my vote.

MrJ no question about it. VCwannabe had some better lines, but had no flow, and some of the stuff he said just didn’t make any sense. MrJ had some stronger punchlines in the first round then this one however.

vcwannabe had some funny lines..but he sounded like that dude Orbit that was on 106 & Park Freestyle Friday a couple years ago..so MrJ eaisly takes this..he had a MUCH better flow overall.

Anyways, haha my votes for MrJ he hit harder, his flow was better, his rhyme scheme was better, and he was original. Vcwannabe your improving but your not quite up to MrJ's level.

I got MrJ, but not by that much. His battle rapping style kinda annoys me because he gets caught trying to show off his skills too much, and taking shots at his opponent seems like an afterthought. I guess that could be because of the inexperienced people he's faced. I don't know.

BTW- vcwannabe did an awesome job. Light years ahead of his first round showing. He gets the most improved award for the competition.

Yeah, I didn't really take this battle as seriously as I should have. I was kinda like Locke having a hard time coming up with the freshness. I should be back in full force next round though. Plus, I've been a little cranky these days. We'll see what happens when I get back in the lab...
