The Idaho offense got going early in the second-quarter as they took their first lead of the game at 26-25 on a 3-pointer by Kevin Murphy and carried a 46-43 lead into the locker room.
With the scored tied at 74, Erie would force some separation as Lewis Jackson hit back-to-back buckets to make the score 83-75 with 7:07 to play. Jackson finished with eight rebounds and seven points.
Idaho continued to battle as Murphy would step up throughout the game with big shots to keep the game close. Murphy finished with 26 points and eight rebounds. Dee Bost showcased his multi-faceted game with a triple-double. He recorded 15 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in the contest.
Idaho and Erie have both concluded their showcase stints and will head home for back-to-backs versus the Los Angeles D-Fenders and Canton Charge, respectively. Both sets start on Friday.
