The Erie BayHawks have claimed free agent Chace Stanback from waivers Friday afternoon.
Stanback (6-8, 215) finished his collegiate career at UNLV following a transfer after one year at UCLA. While with the Runnin' Rebels, he averaged 12.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game during his senior season. He was named to the All-Mountain West third team following the 2010, 2011 and 2012 seasons. The forward played for Asvel (France) before returning to the states.
He will wear number 33 for the BayHawks and is expected to be in uniform tonight as Erie welcomes Springfield to the Erie Insurance Arena.
