Will bayless see considerable minutes later this season or is he riding the bench for the duration?

Considering how little he's played so far, I have a hard time believing McMillain will throw him into the fray later this season. I think he's bench meat until next season.

It wont happen because our team is playing well. If we were a terrible team like the Thunder, then he would get plenty of PT.

serg is playing really well. i dont see jerryd playing unless a trade or injury

Hard to imagine both Sergio, Rodriguez and Blake all playing a full season without injury, so it seems like some minutes will come up at some point. But those minutes are much more likely to be absorbed by Webster.

Bayless is going to be a garbage minutes player all season. Right now there are too many more polished people ahead of him. Even if he improves, three months from now we'll be battling for playoff position, and the rotation will only tighten.

Hope he works hard in practice. The next time I expect to seem him play major competitive minutes will probably be in summer league.

About the trades, IDK if KP will make a trade this year, but if there is, I wouldn't be too surprised to see Sergio packaged w/ him. If not, I do see Bayless being in the 9-10 man rotation next year. I think Bayless would even outplay one of Blake/Sergio for a spot, but it would most likely come from a trade.

I still think that there will be a 3 guard rotation of Bayless/Roy/Rudy with Blake/Sergio (whoever is here) gettin' spot minutes (most likely Blake as Sergio would complain) next year.

A backcourt of Bayless and Roy/Rudy would be awesome! And it would be nice to see Rudy be able to play on ball more. because Rudy usually played with Sergio or Roy, and they are both ball dominant (and Sergio can't really play off the ball anyway), so with Bayless, we could use Rudy better, imo. He can set players up more, attack the basket and get to the line more, while still being run off screens and gettin' shots. Hopefully we start using him like that by the end of this year.
