He will be in charge of both the regular part of the Blazers board, as well as the Off-Topic portion of it. I know some of you guys nominated him to be a Moderator, and it was agreed that he would be a great choice for the job.

With that said, you may now start posting political threads in the Off-Topic portion of this forum again, as Stepping Razor will mainly be focused on Modding that until elections are over. As was said in another forum, we will be adding a 2nd Mod to help him out in the OT Forum, hopefully at some point this week.

Please respect any decisions Stepping Razor makes, and let's keep things civil so we don't ever have to have a repeat of what happened last week (and throughout this week). You all may carry on, and once we have the 2nd Moderator on here, you all will never have to worry about me again.

About time it sure took them long enough to find a mod for the OT forum. We will have to see but it might be to late now though.

After some insightful discussions with some Admins over at BBF, I don't plan on going back. Not the kind of people I want to support.
 
Guys, i understand you're new here, but you won't find any place better as far as the community goes.
 
Who gives a crap what is going on at BBF? If you broke up with your girlfriend would you constantly tell your new girlfriend what your old one was doing all day?
 
I don't think this makes amends for anything. The damage has already been done. They had a "who cares" attitude about posters getting upset

We're not afraid of the competition. It's a whole different matter if someone violates our first rule (be an honorable member of the site) and spams users with a url - we'd consider that would probably annoy most people who post here.
 
And also, you'll like this site much more if you visit other sections like the off topic, nfl, mlb, etc.

After the way those ass clowns over there treated me I have very little desire to post on BBF again. I certainly hope this place succeeds so I won't be tempted to.

Much appreciated.

I've made my position clear . . . I like this site because of the speed and I don't feel like I am walking on eggshells.

But this board has it's work cut out for it as you start with a significant disadvantage of not being as established as the other site. Not only that, they have not allowed us to mention this site over there so a lot of psoters who don't go into the OT forum even kow about this site.

I heard what you said about other posters coming in once the season starts . . . looking forward to it. And FWIW, some of the best posters are either posting here and there or just here alone.

One poster said the quality of posts will bring the memebers. I don't about that . . . is Intel really a better product than AMD or is it just name recognition that makes intel so dominate in theri feild?

How is S2 not as established, it's been up and successful for over 2 years i believe.

It's certainly a failure on our part if people don't want to stay. Our only true competition is ourselves - we have to get better and better all the time, and we will.

I'd like to mention that I do post all over S2, but I'm finding I post a lot in the Blazers forum since you guys came over. It's not some way of kissing ass, it's truly because a lot of you are my age, you're in the same time zone as me, the things you post are very interesting reading, and I'm addicted to political topics like you have in the OT forum.

19 months or so. His point is understood. We don't have 500K Blazers posts already. The good news is the forum is looking better and better.

I didn't mean that in a bad way, I was comparing it to the other board and the number of viewers. Established might have been the wrong word.

The least thing I want to do is insult this board that has accepted the crazy NW Blazer fans with open arms . . . and even allowed threads from the competing board to be posted here. Now there is confidence in your product.

Stepping Razor is rad. I'm not sure that he's going to be at all busy as the mod there, but he's still badass. :)

Word gets around. From what I can see so far, this place is so much more user-friendly that it won't take long for the number of members to increase.

Besides, once you've got us Blazer fans, what more do you need? ;)
