This shit is crazy.

Nursing homes are on fire, they're rolling people out in hospital beds and wheelchairs.

They're asking for people with fire fighting experience to call or report in.

There’s chatter about this being arson. I wonder if it’s true or bullshit.

One tiny silver lining is that this happened while Biden is still in office. Trump would’ve withheld assistance because they didn’t vote for him.

I left northern cal in 83 after a decade of fighting at least 7 major fires around my property. It’s still going on. I hope folks got out safely

I guess the lack of water in the region is really hindering firefighters ability to fight the fire

My friend's sister lives in Pallisades and her family lost their home. Completely destroyed. Horrible.

Why doesn't southern CA supplement it's water supply with desalination plants? There were 150 in Gaza, and California only has 12.

This is crazy. I’ve been watching coverage all morning on Newsnation which is giving a KTLA feed and they are now bulldozing abandoned cars so the firefighters can get thru. People straight up ran from their cars because the fire got too close.

Its now jumped into towns like Pasadena and Altadena which they originally thought would never get touched by the fire.

This is a historic event. Half of the LA area has the possibility of being severely affected.

There’s now looters going into the houses that are still standing in the rich areas that got hit first.

Is that part of the Palisades fire? I see an "Eaton" fire near Pasadena. Is that separate or connected?

I think there’s 3 major fires and several smaller ones.

I guess the Eaton fire is actually a separate fire from the Palisades fire.

State Farm cancelled their fire insurance a few months ago for people in this area. That means someone knew there was a really high chance of this happening. And people are saying the power company refused to turn off the power when the public warned them about lines that were about to go down.

At least the Smelt are ok...
