We go to Ballast Point's tasting room every so often for happy hour down here in San Diego. It's perfect. Walking distance from downtown (where we live and work), a huge outdoor space and a shit ton of beers on tap. Plus, we always have a 6 pack of Sculpin cans in our fridge.

I could drink a 6 pack of Bridgeport IPA and piss out something better than coors light. :)
Quantity > Quality. I like drinking beer, and if I drink anything heavier and/or stronger than Coors Light, I get bloated/tired/drunk after a handful. I can drink thrice as many for thrice as long, and still function well enough to be sociable and active.

It tastes better than that heavy shit. The heavy stuff tastes terrible.

I'd rather drink Coors light, red or white wine, vodka, anything.

You lucky bastard! Sculpin is expensive up here. $13-$15 for a six pack.

Generally speaking, yes. There are a few heavier beers that I think taste better than Coors Light, the best of which is Franziskaner Weissbier (Kristall Klar). Their Hefevweizen is pretty danged good, too. Duvel, Stella Artois, and even one of the Tsingtao beers (can't remember which one) are among those I'd order with an expensive dinner...

I drink "piss beer" when I'm camping and drinking all day... then switch to the good beer at night.

I don't know if it is much cheaper down here. I think I've heard friends who are from Kansas say that Stone is just as much here is it is there (which is stupid expensive for Kansas). My wife and I don't drink that much though, so paying more for beer we really like isn't killing our wallet.

Currently in my fridge:
