He's still in Portland???? What the fuck?

Honestly can't remember him at all and I was religiously following the Blazers then.

Innocent until but the charges are that he raped someone mentally challenged and incapable of making decisions.

If found guilty then he can rot away!

Where did you see the additional details?

The wording seems to indicate to me that he had sex with someone who was drunk/high (thus incapable of giving consent).

He will post bail Wednesday and is able to travel outside the country?

its in the link, third sentence in the dang thing haha

I did a poor job of asking my question better.

The post I was replying to said that the other person involved was mentally challenged. That third sentence "in the dang thing" makes no mention of the person being mentally challenged, it instead uses vague language that is typically cited if a person was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

My request for clarification wasn't to dismiss what McLemore is accused of, it was to obtain information if there really was a news outlet who was saying the person was "mentally challenged" as the poster was saying.

I see what you mean. I guess I read it wrong. For some reason I assumed and pictured the worst case scenario. My bad.

No need to apologize, the wording is vague and suggestive enough for most anyone to jump to the worst possibility; just how the DA and media would want it.

I believe you... I'm just struggling to find it in writing anywhere.
Read the article on the link.
The problem though is Incapable might mean they were drunk or high. The wording is vague.

I wonder if people under the influence of meth are incapable of giving consent. I have heard that that stuff can turbocharge libido.

Of course, alcohol can do the same thing for some people to some extent and that is why the whole "consent" thing gets so murky in certain situations.

Use a knife or gun to rape a woman, face serious charges. Intentionally ply a woman with alcohol and/or drugs until she is incapacitated, say gee I didn't know.

...and still face serious charges, as McLemore is.
