Even ending the thread title with an exclamation point can't inject excitement into the fail/fail result Dems are left with.

Neither of these swamprats on life support could beat Pence, let alone Trump.

I don’t know who will win the nomination, it’s really up in the air. But I will say I don’t think Biden can beat Trump. Mostly because he can’t formulate sentences properly. Policies aside, Bernie is a little sharper, and Trump has more or less admitted behind closed doors that he doesn’t want to go up against him. Seems like an obvious choice for Democrats to completely fuck up.

It's really not, haven't you heard? There's a massive anti-Bernie conspiracy involving most every county in most every state.

But I will say I don’t think Biden can beat Trump. Mostly because he can’t formulate sentences properly. I just hope if Biden wins the nomination that Bernie does not end up on the ticket again as a independent. I think that will just hand the election to Trump again.

OK, Sly....here's the deal. 98% of the people in here know when I'm being facetious, semi-sarcastic, etc. It's been that way since, like, 2008...and before (even before I led the herd to these parts).

The fact of the matter is, Cup, yankee, and a number of others despise the fact that I'm a Trump supporter, and let me know it on a regular basis, whether snarky comments, or direct insults. I've learned to deal with most all of them. I mean, yeesh, I'm a huge minority in these parts, and I accept that fact. I really do.

OK, admittedly, every now and then, I fight fire with fire (again, understand, I'm the minority person here) and throw RESPONSE zingers of my own...lately, mainly to yankee schooner. It's only then that the mods (mostly Liberals, IMO) jump in to quell the fire. So, I guess what I'm reduced to is, take the assaults, and shut the you-know-what up.

As it relates to green font, yank seems to have issue as to when I use it, or when I don't. I ain't defending those choices as they're my prerogative.

Both of you were asked to stop--the Coronavirus thread is more infected with the back-and-forth from you two than a cruise ship with Covid-19.

It has nothing to do with politics. Also, Sly isn't a liberal. Nor is PtldPlatypus. Those were the two mods (prior to this post) that asked you both politely to stick to politics.

A little back and forth is fine but you guys have derailed multiple threads lately. I'm just asking nicely for you guys to just ease off. Nothing wrong with some teasing and having fun, it actually encouraged but today there was a point in the coronavirus thead where you and @yankeesince59 were going at it so much that out of a string of 30 posts 24 of them were you two and your "banter." When 80% of current posts in a thread are two people going at it it's time to give it a rest for a while. @PtldPlatypus politely asked you both to stop and you ignored him. I'm asking you again nicely.

If you are having a problem with a member please send some or all of us a PM.

Nah, it's all about politics with his ilk. These are just a few of the exchanges. He takes on Trump on many other levels (in this exact thread) in between this exchange. You can read those for yourself. He's a Trump hater...and hates those who support him. Period.
