I think the reason you never hear this version is because the Blazers lost the original tape. THIS is the real theme, speed corrected and edited to match the 1-minute intro for the Blazers, burned into my brain from a thousand listens.

The CBS intro scream 80s Showtime battles of the Celtics and Lakers. The computer graphics was unbelievable for it's day.

The NBA on NBC intro was pure perfection and is my personal NBA theme music.

Thank God no one links to any of the NBA on ABC crap.

TNT's theme has been solid since day one.
