I say Ronald Reagan. This guy was amazing. He did what he wanted and didn't care how the media portrayed him.

Most Presidents are a victim of circumstance so it is hard to choose.

I agree, also I've only been alive for 17 years so I don't really know.

you guys forgot Abraham Lincoln!!!!!!!!!!!! he mah boi!and JFK

I haven't been alive enough to tell, but from what I have experienced Bill Clinton did a solid job. There was many jobs, and the economy was running great.Alot of people overlook the great job he did because of the Monica scandal but what they don't understand is when your a celebrity/someone known people are out to get you anyway they can,and well they busted him pretty bad,

Well going off the Presidents that have been in office since I was born, I'd say Clinton over the Bushes.

Clinton owns. He was a great president with the exception of the Lewinsky scandal, he did a lot of good things for our country.

Yea I would also say Clinton, he was a beast. If you scratch out the Lewinsky incident for just a second, he is a perfect man. I just think that scandal overshadows everthiny he did for this country.

I agree, which sucks because he shouldn't be remembered just for that.

If you guys are talking ab out what Clinton did for the economy, your wrong. He's not the reason why the economy was so great in the 90's. You can credit most of the to Ronald Reagan. Reagan is the one who jumpstarted the economy in the late 80's. Plus Reagan broke the communist block.

Clinton did a lot for the environment and his foreign policy was great, I wasn't just referring to the economy. He did a lot of little things for our country.

</div>Bush didnt do anything to hurt the economy. It was already going into decline at the end of the Clinton Administration. The economy always does this. It will be going up within the decade. And then it will start to drop again after that. Its the way it goes.

Clinton walked into the economic boom and Reagan walked in on the end of Russia. -------------------------------- My best President? Franklin D. Roosevelt, what a great man. "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself." Clinton looks good because his presidency was in peace time and he didn't have any real big issues. But he was a good President.

Cant forget Abe Lincoln. He single handedly brought our union together. Without him we would be nothing. He also Abolished Slavery.

Anyone want to pick Washington or even Jefferson (he wrote something, can't remember what it was . . . ) took a while for Lincoln to get a mention even.

i'd definitely vote for Washington, Adams (the 1st one), Jefferson. It took a lot of guts and difficult decisions to get this country going and set the course for the future. Then obviously Lincoln deserves much credit.FDR also made some bad decisions but you can't be mad at him overal because he was decisive at the right moments.both Raegan and Clinton are overrated. Raegan himself is not known to be a great president on his own accord. He had some great advisors and had the good instincts to listen to them.I'm happy with Clinton as a president, but he really wasn't responsible for the economic boom, he was simply riding a wave.Bush shouldn't be bashed too much for the economic failings, because it's failing in all industrialized nations. We've plateaued and it's hard to get economic growth out of a stagnant economy with rising oil prices.I'm not happy with the way he handles budgets though. With welfare etc being drained and military budget sky high, even though that isn't doing us any good.

my bad, one of those names where i throw the vowels around all over the place. But my point stands.

I have actually read numerous books about him, and seen some movies based on him. He was just a great all-around person, and it was really sad when he died.

I doubt you know anything about Reagan, please give me a few paragraphs on why he was the best President.

I was just giving my opinion on who the best president is, and telling you how I found so much about Reagan.

I figured you didn't know anything about him, and I was right.
