What's up everyone? This is my first post here but I'm going to get right down to business. I started this on another site but thought it would be fun to bring it to another Blazer community as well; the more the merrier! Basically, it's a prediction for the entire season on what you think each of our "Big Three" will average in terms of points, rebounds, and assists. In addition, as sort a quick and simple tie-breaker, I'd like a win prediction as well. Any prediction can be changed up until tip-off on opening night in LA. Below is a link to the spread sheet as of this moment in time. It's not "live" in its online form; I have to constantly republish new iterations of it from the saved version on my computer.

The nice thing is that it will be easy for me to check back at this thread at any time to add new predictions to the sheet, and the thread will live on as a back up. Now, the most common objection I've received is that Oden's blocks should be predicted in addition to, and perhaps even in place of, his assists.
There are two main reasons I don't do it that way. First, I think a block prediction for Oden would be even more monotonous than the assist prediction. That is to say, I think just about everyone would guess between 2 and 3, probably on the low end, making the aggregate picture not very interesting. The second reason is that I get a slightly OCD feeling about tracking different categories for different players; I want it uniform for all three.
Now a word about the competition. Not surprisingly, I'm not offering any prizes. However, I have had a couple posters offer pairs of 300-level tickets and the like. Maybe if enough people participate, we can come up with something fun and interesting. My method of scoring I've settled on after much deliberation is surprisingly simple. It's just the sum of the absolute differences in each of the nine columns. As the season progresses, there will be real values across the top in the "Actual" row, and the "Difference" column will be updated accordingly.
Alright, have fun! Also, if you're already on the sheet, feel free to let me know what moniker is/was you and if you would like me to change anything about your entry.
At the beginning of the season I'll post the final list. Then, likely at weekly intervals, I'll post newly published versions of sheet sorted not alphabetically but in order of who is doing the best so far.
