Boone isn't starting any time soon IMO. And is Boone gonna take Stro's minutes? Or is he behind him in the rotation? lol.
Also It sounds like the team has given up on Swat and will likely trade him or D-league.
Nets had nearly a full house today as Josh BooneJosh Boone and Eduardo Najera returned to practice. Boone says he is ready to go and can play Wednesday against the KnicksNew York Knicks . The coach might have a different feeling, of course.
"It's been very tough," said Boone, who has lost 12 straight games - and likely his starting center job -- with a bruised ankle bone. "It's tough. I've been out for so long...We're playing really good and I don't want to come in and mess any chemistry up. I'm sure I'll be eased in anyway. I don't know if I'll be starting - I doubt it, it's not really an issue at this point."
Actually, Boone who has been asked about this so much, started up before a single question was asked: "I practiced. Yes, with contact. I felt good. There was some soreness, but not that much. I don't know if I'll be starting, I doubt it. We've been playing really well and I'm excited for the team and to be back. That cover it?"
Pretty much.
Obviously, I'm not one of the young players they want to develop," Williams said.
