Assistant GM is currently covering Japanese pitcher Masahiro Tanaka. Considered by many to be the best Japanese pitcher ever. as the 24 year old went 22-0 with a 1.23 ERA for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles during the regular season.

Hopefully the Yankees get back into the foreign market.

Hopefully Eppler has nothing in common with Stevie Wonder. I have lost all confidence with everyone in the front office and scouting.

Darvish renewed everyone's faith in the Japanese pitcher, although I still doubt he holds up, but because of him I can see NY taking a chance again, they need a couple of big time starters and this may be their best shot at one.

I hope they seriously take a look at this kid. He seems like the real deal.

I totally agree with your statement. I do not trust Yankee management.

But does he throw the "gyro ball"?

the dimished mind of a soon to be 40 year old

u say this stuff in every thread. do u just assume every player in baseball will get injured or something?

Does anybody know if this kid is a straight free agent that can negotiate freely with teams or teams have to put in a blind bid for him and top bid gets him?

If thats true those are the worst ones as the red sox found out with dice k. Well, sounds like this kids worth it. I hope we put a decent bid for him then.
