I'm betting Lillard passes pretty well known players almost weekly?

I’ve been checking out the leader boards after most games and he passes someone regularly. I think he started the season at 141. He passed Kemp and Perkins recently and Bob Dandridge yesterday against the Magic. I think Rashard Lewis is within his sights and eventually Rasheed Wallace this season.

If he continues at his 2000 points per season, he'll be top 100 at the end of this year, and top 70 and the end of the following year.

Currently,
Carmelo all time points: 26746 is 12th all time (needs 26947 to pass Hakeem)
Lillard all time points: 15564 is 129th (passing Dennis Johnson, needs 15579 to pass Gilmore)

wow!

Currently,
Carmelo all time points: 26794 is 12th all time (needs 26947 to pass Hakeem)
Lillard all time points: 15649 is 123rd (passing Sam Cassell and Antoine Walker)

Currently,
Carmelo all time points: 26806 is 12th all time (needs 26947 to pass Hakeem)
Lillard all time points: 15692 is 121st (passing Hornacek and Larry Nance)

Fun Math:
Lillard is averaging about 30 ppg, and there are 72-28 = 44 games left. If he continues at that pace (unlikely, but not impossible), then he will score 44*30=1320 points, which would put him at ...
17012 career points at season end, which would put him at 97th (more likely 99th as Rudy Gay and Derozan will likely end up with more than 17012 career by season end).

Where was Dame at the beginning of the season? He seems to pass someone every game.

Here's another reason I like Damian Lillard:
When the game is close, we win.

Margin of victory (by 9 or less): 2,8,1,6,6,3,1,9,3,2
Margin of loss (by 9 or less): 3,3,3

So, we're 10-3 in games decided by 10 or less.
If the game is decided by 2 or less: we're 4-0.

Why? Damian Lillard is clutch.

Skip Bayless would have you believe otherwise.

Carmelo is 100 points away from 11th

Carmelo is average 13.4 ppg.
There are 41 games left in the season.
At that rate, he will score about 550 more points this season.

If he does so, he will have 27397 at season's end, which will put him in 10th.

However, there are playoffs and Moses (9th) has 27409, a figure he'll likely pass by the end of the playoffs.

Of course, this all assumes he stays healthy, and continues scoring at his same rate.
