Video inside.

Going in, the Portland Trail Blazers were projected to get the No. 10 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, and after the NBA Draft Lottery concluded, nothing had changed.

It's official, the Trail Blazers hold the No. 10 pick.

The Trail Blazers sent their 2012-13 Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard to New York to represent them at the lottery, knowing the last time they sent their Rookie of the Year in Brandon Roy to the lottery, they came away with the No. 1 overall pick.

Different results this time around.

The great people at DraftExpress have Portland selecting 7-2 center out of France, Rudy Gobert.

Portland needs immediate help and according to most experts and people I've talked with around the league, this draft class isn't equipped with those type of services, especially not at No. 10.

Look for Portland to attempt to use that pick along with other assets to move up in the draft or to acquire a proven veteran via trade for immediate help. LaMarcus Aldridge and Nicolas Batum want to win now.

"We have been, and will continue to, prepare for multiple draft scenarios," said Portland General Manager Neil Olshey. "With the results of tonight, the lottery establishing the official draft order, we are confident we will have the opportunity to select a quality player at No. 10."

UCLA Freshman guard/forward Shabazz Muhammad and Gobert are two prospects that are likely to be on the board when Portland is on the clock. Neither one is expected to contribute in a fashion that is conducive to getting the organization over the playoff hump.

Trail Blazers general manager Neil Olshey has some tough decisions to make and whatever he decides to do, you can be sure their No. 10 pick will be involved.

The full lottery order is as follows:

1. Cleveland
2. Orlando
3. Washington
4. Charlotte
5. Phoenix
6. New Orleans
7. Sacramento
8. Detroit
9. Minnesota
10. Portland
11. Philadelphia
12. Toronto
13. Dallas
14. Utah

Tyreke Evens?

As a starter though? I kind of attribute his lack of development to being in Sactown, kind of like JJ. It'd be great if he had a resurgence like him, but that would be a pretty big hole if he didn't.

I kind of like the idea I just read on blazersedge. Batum and 10 for okeafor and 3 with the wizard.

Batum's a little much. Send them Freeland/Matthews, and take back Nene (saves them tons more money), and now we're talking...

That was just an idea from Chris.

Jaynes has no real sources now that Kahn is gone.

#10 and Mathews for DeAndre Jordan is the new rumor I guess.

I don't see the difference between Matthews and Jordan being the 10th pick personally. By moving 10 and Matthews together, it opens one hole while plugging another, and eliminates one asset(#10) from filling an asset. It also eliminates some cap space. After that trade, we'd have about 11 million to spend, but we'd have the hole at SG to still fill, and no bench.

If they took Freeland as well, and gave us 25, it gets a little better.

Obviously I like that deal much better but no way the wiz do it. I think you have to include Batum if you want to work with Washington, only thing I think you could really tweak would be Nene instead of Okeafor, and I'm not sure they would go for that either. Either way that would solidify the C, then draft Olidapo and work on signing a stop gap SF. I'm not in love with that scenario but I see some potential there.

Deandre Jordan sucks. I have a feeling Olshey realizes that though.

He thought he'd develop more than he did. Dude has no post game, soft defensively (sure might block a couple shots on the weak side) and is a huge liability to have on floor during crunch time because he's an atrocious foul shooter

Frye + Beasley + Oladipo + Gortat for Matthews + Freeland (Expiring) + Cap Space

They'd have a Hell of a Lot of cap space next year, much more than 1 max contract, maybe even 2. They'd also get a fantastic draft pick in a MUCH better draft.

Starters: Lillard, Oladipo, Batum, Aldridge, Gortat

I don't think Vinny was much of a fan that's for sure. I wonder if the new coach will want to keep him. The Clips really don't have another center
on the roster so they would need to replace him with someone.

So gortat and the 5 pick for basicly Mathews and cap? Sign me up!

DeAndre Jordan and Meyers Leonard is what Blazers fans can look forward to from the future Center rotation. Looking at what some of the other teams have for there center position, I don't think it's really all that bad.

I like the 10th pick

You get a pretty good player on a rookie scale contract for a few seasons. If you get lucky, you get a guy like Joakim Noah.

You still have cap space to address weaknesses in the roster.

A 7'2" euro worthy of the #10 pick sounds a lot like Asik.

Len's stock seems to have risen, up to 4 - 7 in most mocks, but Zeller seems to have slipped into the 9 - 11 range. Seems a bit odd given how well Zeller measured/tested.

So, like Meyers Leonard, Zeller is a freakishly athletic 7-footer. He did have a better college career and comes from a better program. So, would you take Zeller if he's on the board at 10? Between Aldridge, Leonard and Zeller, we'd have a very long, athletic big man rotation, but none of the 3 have shown to be above average rebounders or shot blockers. What good is all that length and athleticism if it doesn't lead to dominating the paint?

I'm still hoping Leonard can develop into at least an average rebounder and defender. I wasn't at all surprised by how lost he looked as a rookie. I expected it. He has a good work ethic and the right coach can teach him proper defensive positioning and rotations, and he has the potential to be far above average offensively.

However, I don't know if I want another Leonard-like player in Zeller. Zeller may end up being the better of the two. Hard to say at this point, and is probably a little more NBA ready, but he would seem redundant with Leonard and doesn't really address any specific needs.

Personally, I'd like to see the Blazers package the pick, move up and grab Oladipo. Not because I think he'll be the next Michael Jordan. He won't be. Not even close. I want him for his defense. He's a great defender that loves to play defense. We need that skill set and that mentality. I doubt if Memphis gets past San Antonio, but I love their defense. It's what sets them apart from the Clippers and OKC in the post season. Those teams are both loaded with great offensive talent, but defense wins in the post season. Oladipo would immediately improve our perimeter defense.

Why is it that guys in the media who rail on fans for being unrealistic in their trade scenarios (and in most cases, they are), they themselves come up with absolutely stupid and sometimes factually not even possible trade scenarios?

No chance at Zeller being on the board at 10.

No chance at Zeller being on the board at 10.

I checked several mocks yesterday and they all had him going in the 9 - 11 range. Draftexpress currently has him at 11. Hoopsworld has him at 10. SBNation has him at 10. The two guys at CBSSports have him at 10 and 9. Not sure where he'll go, but the guys that make these projections in the media seem to think there's a good chance he'll be available at 10.

So, if he is available at 10, would you take him?
