There wasn't a whole lot to be pleased with in this game, except the second quarter. The lineup of Turner, Crabbe, Harkless, and Aminu (All players considered by many to be small forwards, hence the "4-3" moniker) were incredibly active and effective, switching constantly, completely confusing the Warriors on both ends of the floor. It was some of the best defense I've seen from the Blazers all year, and some of the best I've seen played against the Warriors by any team.

Obviously that group can't play all 48, but they were excellent and deserve recognition.

I like to call lineups like those as having good "switchability". Having lineups like those makes defending screens and transition offense easier.

Problem is, that's a poor team offensively. The key is to get a team that has players like that who can produce offensively.

Imagine having
Middleton, Moe, and James Johnson at the 2-4 spots. That's a group with good switchability, that compliments each other offensively, and are all decent to good offensive players.

Except...that's the only stretch during the game where our offense was passable too. The excellent defense led to better offense.

The teams that competed for titles all shared one thing. Great length.
