Blake was a Nash guy wasn't he?

He didn't trade Frye or Outlaw. I said traded. Frye signed with Phoenix. A re-signing isn't a trade.

Steve Patterson traded him to the Bucks I think. KP signed him back later.

Forgot Frye was a FA. And yes, he did trade Outlaw last year with Blake.

Yeah, don't forget Webster for Babbitt

:twothumbs:

This was after he had already been fired and everybody knew about it. Another brilliant move, brought to you by Vulcan Inc.! Hey, why don't we allow the guy we fired 3 hours ago run our draft!

He traded Outlaw and Blake for Camby. He also signed Blake to a FA contract after PatterNash traded Blake/Ha/Skinner to Milwaukee for Jamal Magloire.

9pt qtr vs grizz is not alarming but down right scary. that alone warrants cho making a move.

Making a move based on a knee-jerk reaction is not wise.

We didn't see anything tonight that we haven't seen before. If there was nothing but bad deals out there before this game, we should not make one of those bad trades just because of tonight.

Besides, Babbitt has scored more pts than Webster this year :ghoti:

PatterNash traded BLANKY/Ha/Skinner to Milwaukee for Jamal Magloire in summer '06. KP signd BLANKY as a FA the following summer.

brain fart there. I guess I should learn the game then post.

Weird how far a GM can fall from grace. At one point Portland fans were coining the term Pritchslap. Now we look back at him as a poor GM (atleast I do).

You are contradicting yourself....I think.

You say making a move based on a knee jerk reaction isn't wise, and then say we shouldn't one of those bad trades because of tonight. But you also say we didn't see anything tonight that we haven't seen before.

“I think the (starting) five, those guys are gassed,” Portland coach Nate McMillan said. “I think they have played some heavy minutes. We need the bench to give us a breather.”

Apparently Nate has been waiting for the bench players to put themselves into the game, ala Brandon Roy, whenever they think they should be in there.

Just finished watching the game on replay. It's amazing that we are even somewhat close in any game, considering how badly Roy, Rudy and Batum are shooting. I support all those who think Batum should be back in the starting lineup and Roy off the bench. this would give Batum a chance to get back into rhythm and maybe make the 2nd unit stronger. Let Rudy go back to Europe; there has go to be someone in the D-league who can shoot better.

Aldridge is really an amazing athlete; that is the 2nd game he has caught passes almost under the basket at a full run and got the ball up into the basket. And then on another play he missed a layup with his left hand and seemed to bat the ball back in with his right hand before coming back down on the ground. Miller has really helped him show off his athleticism and good hands. Too bad Aldridge doesn't have the desire to be a great rebounder and defender.

Nate should have a rule for Cunningham; never put the ball on the floor.

With most games, offensive rebounding (which I have been told is a product of Nates offensive system), and decent defense is keeping us in games.
