In these quarantine times I have gathered up my older Blazers cards and have had some pretty good laughs with my wife about reminiscing in times of delight/apathy during certain drafts/trades of past decades (80's-current).

Now here is my OT topic question: What shall I do with the numbered Qyntel Woods card I stumbled across?
I thought about letting my cat play around with it and then leave it out near the trash torn and tattered.

Bonus question: What is the worst Blazers memorabilia that you own?

needs to become a dogs chew toy.
We only have a cat since we live in a small condo, but yes maybe I'll just toss it in the local dog park and let them have at it. :)

Use it as a driver's license

Worst part about that joke is that I have lived in Portland area my entire life and been pulled over multiple times for minor Damon/Rasheed level offenses while driving and during a few of these times never had my license (due to it being expired) or had expired tags and every single time was let go with no search, cuffs, ABUSE, or anything more than a "warning". #WOKE

Emotional injury was self inflicted holding out hope for so long that he could heal.
I'm right there with you...I have a stack of his "Rookie" cards with autos, #'s, patches, etc. All a bunch of garbage. I should have tried to sell the lot as TP when the pandemic first depleted the stores.

Send them to Trader Bob Whitshit

Keep Qyntel!

That card actually has a funny story.

Worst memorabilia: I have a Raef LaFrentz autographed Blazer bobblehead.

woods isnt worth anything. just keep the memories.

the trading card market has been totally ballistic over the last 18months and in the last 6 especially.

ive collected Damon Stoudamire for over 20yrs - best collection around if youre interested in looking :)

DAMon...that is a nice collection you got there. Yeah, I really just bought/buy base card packs yearly since 1989 as my dad got me into it during the boom. Of course I occasionally stop at the local card shop and peruse now and then, but with how F'd card production was in the beginning of my collecting years I really just lost faith in the business. Still keep up the hobby on the cheap side knowing I'm buying cardboard memories.

box prices have been astronomical recently. even low tier brands like Hoops are around 300usd a box now, used to be like 80?

Panini just launched National Treasures Premium - First Off The Line, in a dutch auction starting at $30k USD for a 4 box case, $ decreasing every 5 mins

currently on ebay for 15-17k - for ONE BOX ....which contains....

1st Off the Line Premium Edition 2019-20 Panini National Treasures NBA Trading Cards comes with 10 cards plus 1 Bonus FOTL RPA per pack and 1 pack per box.

unreal.

normal NT hobby boxes are like 4-5K per boxm they just have the 10card base, FOTL prem has the bonus guaranteed RPA - for a 10k ish premium....

again, unreal.

Flawless is still coming.

I know, it is crazy! I looked at some of the recent sets since I had fortunately been able to grab some 19-20 base boxes when they launched in stores (Freds/BiMart) and saw now that they are going for $$$. I also saw the newest Noir 1st off the line for $3k which blew my mind. I thought I was tripping and overnight Zion and Ja turned into the ultimate GOAT with the season not even being over yet. SMH!

I have a Roy auto card, and (2) of the four ODEN by the letter cards, also autographed. I sold the “N” of BRYANT (no autograph) last year to a collector for $4,700!

i have an autographed Larry Bird and also an autographed Julius Irving and an autograph card of Magic Johnson - will sell any or all.

several Kobe rookie cards and game worn jersey cards including a piece of his All Star jersey cards!

todd@mexiform.com if interested

I have gems to share here this weekend when I get morethings set up!

It will be worth the wait!!
Might even show off my Danny Ainge Baseball card!

I will have pictures soon and upload them, but are you interested in selling any of your Blazers cards to a good home?

I have a large display case i'm looking to fill up with more items.

I went through our cards too and I found a near mint full set of 92-93 topps stadium club. The Jordan in mint sells for a couple grand. I also found my book of Griffey jr cards including a bunch of rookies. So i'm buying a few wall mounted display cases for the top one and will put the decent ones in sleeves and display them in my large case. But it will need more cards than what I have. :)

I'm thinking of picking back up and starting to collect Lillard, but he is already so expensive for his rookie cards.. not sure I want to invest now considering the times. lol.

If you are interested in selling at all though, DM me and I can get you my info to send some pics to or something and we can go from there. : )

Id be more interested in new Blazers, CJ, Nurk, or the good years of Clyde, Kersey, Buck, etc or the golden years of Peitrie, Walton, Lucas, etc.

I gues id be interested in some jail blazer era cards too ,like Wallace, O'niel, Grant, Sabonis, Pippen, etc.

Sorry, but this post was more of me laughing at the Qyntel card and thinking of what to do with it while wondering what other "unwanted" memorabilia anyone had that was considered to them a "bad" item. My cards are for my grubby paws only (and then will be passed down). :) I do appreciate the energy in looking for cards though. Best 'o luck and GO BLAZERS!

Gotta respect grubby Blazer paws. HAHA . Right on. Well post some pics of your stuff. Ill do the same. Need ot find the thread and bump it. Blazers memorabilia. Maybe both. The legit one and the funniest S2 thread ever one. If you haven't seen that its a must read!

I know it is minimal compared to what is current as to ranting or being upset, however some crackhead broke into our outside storage area and stole all of our camping gear and bikes. The other thing they stole....my box of Bo Jackson and Michael Jordan Baseball cards.....not that the latter was worth much, but still bummed. I got out of Baseball back in 98' and while it really isn't a grave loss (mass produced 90's cards) I am still bummed. I also had some beat up but still cool Babe and Mantle cards along with some KG rookies as well. First world problems I guess...time to move on and just be glad I didn't keep my Basketball cards in there.
