Blazers have the 3rd best bench in the league.

I think we should bench or trade Travis so that our bench isn't as productive.

Travis played more minutes than any of our starters. He works so well with the second unit at the beginning and the first unit at the end. And he plays both SF and PF very well.

...Rodriguez could probably start on at least five other NBA teams.

I'd say we have the #1 bench, considering Batum (or Martell when he returns).

So does that mean we have the 27th best starters?

Anyone wanna take a stab at which five teams??
He COULD start on a few I suppose, but I can't imagine he would get the starting nod on any team in the league. I went through the worst teams in the league in my head, and I doubt Sergio would start for any of them.

I can start a list of teams he wouldn't start for, but that would take a long time....

Well, obviously Portland and Orlando right off the bat, but I'd say it's more like there might be only about 5 teams where he couldn't start, or at least wouldn't be an improvement given their style. Chris Paul, Steve Nash, and Sergio are too similar to make an impact by switching them, and San Antonio is too half-court oriented to take advantage of Sergio's skills. The Lakers or Houston would be practically unbeatable with Sergio at the point however, as would the Okies. Milwaukie would be better, Wizards for sure.
