Board Bash?

With the expected increased success and excitement about the team this year, if we are going to have a board bash, we should probably start the planning early or it may not be an option.

I guess the first item of business would be how many people would be interested in having a board bash (bunch of us get together to go to a game) and secondly, any dates people would prefer?

Obviously I am interested in having a bash. Perhaps if we get enough people interested we mayhap could get the Blazers to provide some take-home goodies.

As long as it's post-election tempers should be reasonably cool.

I'd be up for it as long there's the guarantee of getting sloshed at some point during the evening.

Depending on the date of the game and available tickets I would be interested in going. Friday, Saturday or Sunday would be the best for me but other dates might be ok. I live at the coast so it depends on what time I can get away for weekday games.

The election wouldn't bother me I have already given up and I'm sure Obama is our next president. I'm even going to try and be good and give Obama all the benefit and won't start picking on him for at least a few months after he is elected.

I've gone to a few of them. One time we had a few suites at the Rose Garden; another time a few of us (eblazer, for one) got free tickets to Game 4 against Dallas the year the Blazers tied up the series after being down 3-0.

Another time we watched Game 6 against the Lakers, I believe, at Damon's when it was still open in Jantzen Beach. I think it was that game; hard to remember after having many adult beverages.

LOL, I went to Bulls/Blazers the night they beat the Jordan Bulls in 97-98. I was so inspired by their performance I bought tickets that night and roadtripped to Indy...where my team lost 124-59, the worst loss in franchise history.
