RT @tribjazz: Jazz just announced that Carlos Boozer won’t return. X-rays were negative but he has a muscle strain in his right rib cage.
He'll probably be ready for the playoffs, but the game tomorrow is in doubt. That's huge for us.
Don't ever wish for injuries for another team. It's bad karma.I have zero sympathy for the Jazz and their fans, so I hope this is true.
Well, if this helps Phoenix win tomorrow, that will be good.
I don't think we want Phoenix...

That's not karma.
Karma would be if you wished an injury on a player and instead a injury happened to you. Your good and/or bad karma can't affect a 3rd party. That would be their karma.
Rather them than a physical Denver or Utah.
We want Phx the most by far between Dal, Phx, Den or Utah IMO.
Are you guys watching them play Denver right now? If Boozer is truly hurt and will potentially miss time in the playoffs then that is a much much better matchup than Phoenix. The Suns have been clicking ever since we played them down there at the all-star break. Denver plays no D anymore and we have had Dallas' number all year.

Boozer will be back for the playoffs and it wouldn't make any difference anyway they have Millsap. I don't think we have any chance against Utah or Den (won't have to play Den now they are the 5th seed). I would want to play Phx, Dal, Den or Utah in that order.
You are comparing Millsap to Boozer? A bench player to an All-Star?
if Boozer is out then they don't have Milsap off the bench... thats a huge loss for them. Kirilenko is already gimpy. No Boozer would mean the Jazz would be the worst team in the tough Western bracket IMOBoozer will be back for the playoffs and it wouldn't make any difference anyway they have Millsap. Yes I am. Millsap had 24 rebounds tonight taking Boozers minutes after he got injured.
Millsap and Boozer are interchangeable.
For the purposes of this discussion, "we" are the Blazers and "they" are any other team in the NBA. If "we" wish bad things for another team, we might have bad things happen to our own team. It's called karma by association, which was first studied by Winslow, Thiboud, et al., in "The Associative Effects of Wish Fulfillment in Reverse," which appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine in May of 1954.That's not karma.
