OT Boxer Maxim Dadashev Dies After Fight

Dadashev who was 13-0 prior to the fight, lost on Friday to Subriel Matias by TKO after the 11th round when his trainer Buddy McGirt stopped the fight. Dadashev took 319 hits, 112 to the body and 207 to the head. Dadashev needed help getting out of the ring before collapsing and vomiting on the way to the locker room.

He was rushed to the hospital and put in a medical coma. The bleeding and swelling of his brain went away but the brain damage was too much. He died from his injuries today.
