Just click my avatar and read my starts. Been a B-Roy homer religiously.

I'll go ahead and nominate PapaG as the conductor of the Roy Appreciation Train, and magnifier as the ticket-taking prognosticator.

I'm shoving aside my "what the hell took you so long?" tendency, and thinking that Roy just needed a "screw it, I'm taking the ball" moment of being down 20 in order to get over whatever issues he had.

Good win. Great performance.

Great game by Brandon! I couldn't be happier for him.

May as well merge this with the "HIS NAME IS BRANDON ROY" thread. That one came from a place deep inside me. :)

Love that all the "fans" love Roy again. It was just 3 days ago that Roy was...

Nvm, screw it.

Just enjoy the win.

Those that aren't posting, well, we know their agenda. They'll never live it down on this board. :)

Everyone back on the Roy Bandwagon, all those who hopped off and jumped on the "kid is done" need to sit in the back.

Most fans (including myself) just respond to what they see. Brandon hasn't played well most of the year. Today he showed everyone what kind of man he is. He is a special player.

Well, that's basically admitting you're an Armchair Point Guard. I don't respect that.

I will say this, when Brandon struggled I will be the first to admit that I get frustrated. But plain and simple no matter how he is athletically or physically he is clutch when it matters. And no matter how frustrated I get I will be just as quick to say, "Great game Brandon, great game. I am as happy and proud of you as possible."

My wife and I both agreed that we won't doubt Brandon anymore, even if he looks bad in the first half. If he has this potential in him at any time, then you have to respect that. And I do. Much love.

No one's ever doubted the talent in Roy (well, since his rookie season). The question was simply whether his body could still get him there. It clearly still can in some glorious bursts.

Anyone who ever doubted Roy on an internet forum needs to eat crow on that internet forum. This is definitely the time for those who gambled on Roy's future and hit blackjack to show everyone else who was right. Congratulations, internet savants! Now, PM who will win the SuperBowl next year and I'll split the profits with you!

and you now what..........welcometo game 5 mavs.....you have awoke BRANDON ROY..night everyone

I will happily eat a whole murder of crows uncooked if it will get B-Roy to play like he did last night for the rest of the playoffs.

Good on you B-Roy.

simple an incredible effort and game by Brandon? I'm really hoping/praying his knees hold up and he can continue to play at this high level!

Brandon is the most clutch player this franchise has ever had. He's unbelievable. I actually cried after that game.

I am such a pussy. I have it on DVR and watched the 4th quarter twice. Tearing up the entire time.

Fantastic game.

I still can't understand how he could be this good in this game, considering the season he has had and his recent play. It is a mystery and a miracle - even to Brandon himself based on his interviews.

I think it was two things. First, his legs felt fresh. Second, he stopped thinking and just started playing.

If we win this series--largely on the strength of that performance last night--then I will never again complain about his contract, even if he never plays again. That 4th quarter was darn near worth $82M by itself.

look guys, hes probably not gonna make every shot in game 5...but he might!

Could you imagine if we actually won the title? How epic would that story be? SI would love to make a championship video of their journey!
