Would he buy drinks for all those that sport a #7 jersey?

What was that "legends" league that he was supposed to be part of?

He can afford a whole lotta chicken wings..actually I would welcome him to the Portland broadcast org.....good to see him where it all started!

Never heard of him. Did he play for PSU?

I couldn't stand listening to his nasal voice.

Can we all pitch in to buy him a ticket out of Portland?

The league will never realize how good he was, because he played up here in the corner of the country, in high school, college, and pro.

I cant be too salty. he gave me some incredible memories. and unlike albitch didnt choose to leave portland, management chose to be done.

I'm not mad at Roy. It's not his fault that his knees gave out, or that this team gave him a huge contract. It's a little sad that he turned his back on the city, but I think it's more likely that it was painful for him because he couldn't play the game that he loved anymore.

He really did screw our franchise over, so it's hard to have too many fond memories. After all, he never even got us out of the first round. He was fun to watch, and appreciated his talent, but he really did us no favors at the end.

He refused to get a knee transplant. I offered him one of mine for $10 mill and never heard back.

How do you figure? He signed his max contract and then was almost immediately amnestied, so that money never affected us.

I don't hold a grudge against Roy for trying to play the game he loves even if it passed him by. What I didn't like was his personality. I didnt like his whiny attitude. I didn't like him bringing attention to himself by pouting to the media during the playoffs. I didn't like how after he retired he didn't come back to us (granted, that could have been the organizations fault too), I didn't like how he treated Andre miller. And I was the guy yelling at the games for Roy to even try to get in front of his man as he was always playing matador defense.

I liked him and appreciate some of the moments he gave us and will always love him for that.

I'm much happier with dame and absolutely love his personality. He's the true leader we needed.
