With the history of baseball taking a new turn. The Hall will open a new wing called "Hall of Shame" exiled stars.

Nomination are not complete, but Arod and Barry Bonds lead a list of nominees for this dubious enshrinement. Who else should be listed? At least they will make the Hall of Shame. Instead of Bronze likeness, it will be a life size pic of their assholes.

Arod
Bonds

LOL.. I would add Sosa, Clemens, Canseco, Shrek (David Ortiz), Manny, Palmeiro, and probably a slew of others that are currently escaping me...

Pete Rose finally gets into the hall of fame....does Joe Jackson get in as well?

I always felt that Joe Jackson got screwed. As far as Pete Rose, there is no doubt what he did on the field but he could be put in the same class Arod as far as I'm concerned when it comes to the narcissistic personalities.

I firmly believe that Pete Rose should be in the HOF... and I too agree that Joe Jackson got screwed

...Rose in the HOF?...only posthumously. And IMO, that should be his ultimate punishment.

Don't add a wing, get some porta potties and hang their paper plaques on the walls.

Don't complicate things...I'm still trying to figure out how Tony Perez, Carlton Fisk, Andre Dawson and Rick Ferrell (amoung a few others) ARE in THE Hall of Fame !

Toss in Biz Mackey from the Negro leagues....(amoung a few others).....could it be all of these Negro League players elected to the Hall of Fame were that much better than their MLB contemporaries not in the Hall of Fame? Were they facing pitchers who were that much better than MLB pitchers?
Pleeeeeeeeease....stop insulting my intel.

Of course segregation was a terrible injustice.....but I'm talking ONLY baseball performance.

The old generation of players dating back to the Negro Leagues and early MLB was so segregated that it is almost impossible as you point out, in order to draw any conclusions. Hell, Satchel was what 42 as a rookie and that is if you believed his birth certificate that many didn't lol. I for one never took the inductions of many of the Negro League Players into the hall of fame because of the statistics, but as contributors to the game of baseball, and inside their League the stats that promoted them within that league. The Major League All Century Team I find interesting although dated.
